Health recommendations

Maintaining heart health: coenzyme Q10 strengthens a damaged, weak heart, improving the quality of life and survival of people with chronic heart failure. Q10 is present in all cells, but is found in the heart in the largest amounts, so its deficiency is associated with fatigue and reduced cardiac output.

Maintaining adequate blood pressure: Q10 has the potential to reduce systolic blood pressure by up to 17 mm Hg and diastolic blood pressure by 10 mm Hg, but this requires at least 12 weeks of Q10 supplementation.

Maintaining adequate cholesterol levels: Q10 supplementation is important for people taking statins, cholesterol-lowering drugs, as statins reduce not only cholesterol production but also the natural production of Q10.

Supporting cell function: the most important property of Q10 is to provide energy to cells and maximise physical and mental fitness. In athletes, it increases exercise performance and shortens recovery after exercise.
